Title: Maintenance Manager

LOCATION: On-site in Mount Laurel, NJ

Our 46,000 square foot facility in Mount Laurel, NJ provides a clean, safe environment with equipment that has been well maintained - the plant is located right off the New Jersey turnpike and close to 895. In 2023, Injection Works joined Nelson Miller Group (NMG) as its in-country authority for custom thermoplastic injection molding services. 


As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and machinery. Your primary objective will be to minimize downtime, optimize productivity, and maintain a safe and functional work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage a team of maintenance personnel. This is a full-time on-site role in Mount Laurel, NJ.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal functioning of the organization's facilities, equipment, and machinery.
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a highly competent and motivated workforce.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage and oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring an adequate inventory and cost-effective purchasing practices.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics, such as equipment uptime, repair costs, and maintenance expenses, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards, promoting a culture of safety and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance management, and introduce innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to maintenance activities.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications


  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to managing maintenance operations.

  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours and respond to emergency situations, as needed.
