Title: Plant Maintenance Technician

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The Plant Maintenance Tech has complete responsibility and accountability for building, grounds & equipment maintenance.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages Preventive Maintenance system for building & equipment
• Accountable for building & equipment repairs including contracting & scheduling outside services
• Coordinates and participates in equipment installs or moves including contracting & scheduling outside services
• KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS
  
  • Equipment downtime percentage
  • PM on-time percentage
• SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineer with equipment builds & new process development
  • Maintain database for PM records
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Education
  
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2-year Electro-Mechanical degree preferred
• Experience
  
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Experience with screen-printing presses & oven lines as well as light fabrication equipment such as steel rule die presses, laminators, lasers preferred
• Skills
  
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, drawing, schematics
  • Knowledge of electronics (PLC’s), pneumatics, hydraulics
  • Familiar with HVAC systems and air compressors
