Title: Plant Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: On-site in our Wausau, WI officePRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Plant Maintenance Tech has complete responsibility and accountability for building, grounds & equipment maintenance.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages Preventive Maintenance system for building & equipment
- Accountable for building & equipment repairs including contracting & scheduling outside services
- Coordinates and participates in equipment installs or moves including contracting & scheduling outside services
- KEY PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Equipment downtime percentage
- PM on-time percentage
- SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Manufacturing Engineer with equipment builds & new process development
- Maintain database for PM records
- Assist in continuous improvement projects
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2-year Electro-Mechanical degree preferred
- Experience
- 3-5 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience with screen-printing presses & oven lines as well as light fabrication equipment such as steel rule die presses, laminators, lasers preferred
- Skills
- Ability to read and interpret prints, drawing, schematics
- Knowledge of electronics (PLC’s), pneumatics, hydraulics
- Familiar with HVAC systems and air compressors
