Steven Jome

Senior Product Development Engineer

I’m a Senior Product Development Engineer and my background is in hardware design. I have been with the company since 2007. I enjoy the challenges of designing and delivering new electronic products that exceed customers’ expectations for quality and reliability. I also enjoy outdoor activities with my family—like catching a fish or two!

Amanda Moss

Customer Service Representative

Having a hand in offering outstanding customer support at NMG since 2020 has been a real pleasure. Being front and center with customers, engineers, and account executives has allowed me to create close relationships with customers and teammates alike! The best part of my position is having a role in the process from start to finish. Seeing a project be given the “green light” to mass production gives me that extra boost of motivation to achieve the best end goal for our customers! I enjoy spontaneous trips with my family, whether swimming at the beach or riding UTVs on wooded trails.

Dennis Whitaker

Plant Manager, Injection Works

I’ve spent the last 30 years in plastics, holding most roles from the floor to the office. Even so, I still have a lot to learn and am very excited to bring my skills to Nelson Miller Group. When not engaged in plant activities, I spend as much time as possible with my wife and four children. I also enjoy playing the bass guitar.

Lori Helke

Warehouse Manager

After 25 years in retail, I started my career at NMG just over 2 years ago when I was hired on as a warehouse manager. One thing I love about my job is getting things organized and helping out in other departments when needed. Everyone works together as a team to accomplish a job to make our customers happy with quality products we produce. In my spare time I enjoy walking and hiking with our two dogs. My summers are very busy with watching my two sons play baseball.

Eric Vuong

Applications Engineering Manager

Since joining Nelson Miller Group in 2001, I’ve loved working with customers and our engineering team to develop a product from the conceptualizing stage to launch. It makes me proud to produce quality, on-time products that people use in their everyday lives. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at our local shelter and doing outdoor activities.

Rodney Matis

Technical Buyer

As part of the company’s Purchasing team, I interface with suppliers and both upstream and downstream internal customers. I gain great satisfaction from working with Engineering and Production to procure components and raw materials for on-time delivery. Rounding out my day, I also work closely with our Quality and Financial teams to ensure accuracy, conformance to our quality standards, and prompt payment of invoices. Building and maintaining relationships with our suppliers is a crucial responsibility that I enjoy. In my spare time, I try to spend as much time as possible with family and friends boating and riding motorcycles and ATVs, as well as more solitary hobbies like hunting, fishing, and camping.

Katie Collins

Procurement Manager and Inventory Control

In my 10+ years at NMG, the best part of my job is the supplier visits. I feel it is very profitable for our company to have suppliers visit and see our operations. In doing so, they can provide us with the latest and greatest products new to the market that can improve our process and/or products.

The Procurement team’s goal is to source quality materials to build quality parts for on-time delivery. We’re continuously building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to attain this goal. I love working with the Procurement team and appreciate knowing that, no matter what NMG location you are working in, a great support system is only a phone call away!

Frank Orellana

Senior Mechanical/Applications Engineer

Out of my 25 years in the engineering field, the last 14 have been with the NMG family. I have worked in the design of membrane switches, backlights, rubber keypads, PCBs, and plastics. I’ve also worked closely with customers who are in need of turnkey products, and I have supported them from conceptual design to fully packaged product. Designing is my passion and NMG has empowered me to be creative and come up with “outside-the-box” solutions for our customers. At NMG I’m able to 3D model, produce, evaluate, and assemble components that not only meet customer’s requirements but also create a culture of ownership and accountability. I enjoy playing guitar, piano, and anything that makes noise. I love the Lord with all my heart, enjoy the outdoors, and recently took a 7,200-mile, cross-country road trip with family!

Sarah Bridenhagen

Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, Virginia Customer Service Team

I’m currently in my sixth year with NMG and I enjoy the teammates, vendors, supply chain partners, and customers I get to work with every day. As a global organization, we not only embrace but rely upon a vast array of perspectives. In my role as Supply Chain Director, I get to experience those perspectives on a daily basis. I also enjoy the fact that no day looks the same. We work in a fast-paced environment where global conditions change rapidly. Our only choice is flexibility and adaptability, which means addressing and resolving new challenges regularly. This keeps my job interesting and creates exciting (and challenging) prospects for our team. I spent the first six years of my career based in Paris! I love to travel and thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, values that translate well into my role at NMG.

Doug Breskin

Key Accounts Manager

I’ve been with Nelson Miller Group and its predecessors since 1990, initially in engineering and transitioning to a sales role in 1997. Learning about the wide variety of devices produced by our customers keeps me engaged in my role as Key Accounts Manager, and I love serving as my customers’ advocate with our factories to ensure we always provide the best solution. Water sports, motorsports, and hiking occupy my free time, and I serve on the planning board of my community.
